1. Lifting Knee and Stabbing Broadsword Upward
Gist: lifting left knee, body turning right slightly, holding broadsword with hands and stabbing upward with the broadsword at the right side of body, looking left front (Picture 2).

Mistakes: tiptoe upturning and leg standing unstably.
Correcting Method: extending the left foot while lifting knee, and keeping the tiptoe downward and right leg standing straight, five toes of right foot gripping ground.
2. Bow Stance and Cleaving with Broadsword
Gist: left foot landing forward, body turning left slightly and cleaving diagonally forward with the broadsword into left bow stance, eyes front (Picture 3).

Mistake: uncoordinated actions.
Correcting Method: practicing step by step and repeatedly, till the actions getting consistent and coordinated.
3. Horse Stance and Pressing Broadsword
Gist: right foot stepping forward, the heel kicking and jumping up, body turning left and jumping for 3 times and cleaving broadsword in the air for 3 times, landing with two feet into horse stance and pressing the broadsword, eyes front (Picture 4).

Mistakes: cleaving being too slow and forceless, body jumping and turning not in place.
Correcting Method: cleaving quickly with strength, body jumping and turning 360°each time.
4. Foot Withdrawing and Cleaving with Broadsword
Gist: left foot withdrawing backward into a cross-step, holding broadsword with hands and thrusting right rear, then right foot withdrawing into left bow stance, holding broadsword with hands and cleaving from top to bottom, eyes front (Picture 5).

Mistake: thrusting and cleaving not in place.
Correcting Method: making the point of broadsword full of strength while thrusting from back to front; making the blade full of strength while cleaving.
5. Gist: left and right foot stepping forward in turn, heel of right foot kicking and body jumping up and performing butterfly kick, two feet landing in turn, right foot stepping forward, body turning left around and cleaving 3 times and forming left bow stance, eyes front (Picture 6).

Mistake: performing butterfly kick and jumping uncoordinatedly.
Correcting Method: practicing more the run-up and jump.
6. Carrying Broadsword on Back and Punching (Jirugi)
Gist: body turning right around and right leg swinging outwards and bumping with left hand, landing into right bow stance and carrying broadsword on back, left hand shifting into fist and punching out from waist side, looking at the left fist (Picture 7).

Mistakes: right leg swinging outwards slowly, and bumping the leg making no sound.
Correcting Method: swinging leg outwards quickly and bumping it with left hand to make sound heard.
7. T-stance and Showing Broadsword
Gist: left fist shifting into palm, passing through waist side; left foot stepping forward and right leg performing inside crescent kick, then holding the broadsword with hands and waving it around at the left side of upper front of head, cleaving from the left side of body till the front of chest, left foot moving half-step toward the inner side of right one and two feet standing together and bending legs and half squatting, looking at left side (Picture 8).

Mistake: palm passing and performing inside crescent kick uncoordinatedly.
Correcting Method: palm passing slowly but forcefully, performing the inside crescent kick quickly and accurately.
8. Bow Stance and Thrusting Broadsword
Gist: left foot stepping forward, body turning left around, left foot moving forward and posing left bow stance, holding the broadsword with hands and sweeping over and then thrusting forward, eyes front (Picture 9).

Mistake: incorrect course of sweeping and thrusting broadsword.
Correcting Method: sweeping quickly and forcefully at the height of shoulders, and thrusting the broadsword out from waist side.
9. Kneeling Stance and Cleaving Broadsword
Gist: body turning left around and cleaving for 3 times, lowering right leg and thrusting the broadsword, posing right kneeling stance, holding the broadsword with hands and cleaving at the right side of body, looking at the broadsword body (Picture 10).

Mistake: body turning and kneeling stance being uncoordinated.
Correcting Method: right foot crossing left one when body turning; two legs separating simultaneously to form kneeling stance.
10. Carrying Broadsword on Back and Punching (Jirugi)
Gist: right foot stepping forward, body turning left around into half horse stance, holding the broadsword with hands and waving it overhead and thrusting forward, swinging the broadsword to the right side of body and carrying it on back, left hand leaving the broadsword and shifting into fist and punching out from waist side, looking at the left fist (Picture 11).

Mistake: forceless broadsword waving, thrusting and fist punching.
Correcting Method: waving and thrusting the broadsword with waist strength; punching fist with strength of both waist and arm.
11. Horse Stance and Slapping Broadsword
Gist: holding the broadsword and waving it leftward, left hand catching it, body turning left 180°, and slapping with the broadsword from top to bottom for 3 times uninterruptedly and shifting into horse stance and pressing broadsword, looking at right side (Picture 12).

Mistake: action being inconsistent when slapping with the broadsword for 3 times.
Correcting Method: slapping for 3 times consistently and quickly.
12. Bow Stance and Thrusting Broadsword
Gist: right foot withdrawing and forming cross steps, holding the broadsword with hands and swinging backward then thrusting forward, left foot stepping forward and forming left bow stance and cleaving with broadsword, bending elbow and turning over the wrist and thrusting with broadsword, looking at the broadsword body (Picture 13).

Mistake: forceless thrusting.
Correcting Method: first withdrawing the broadsword to waist side, then thrusting out forward quickly and forcefully.
13. Bow Stance and Flipping Broadsword
Gist: holding the broadsword with hands and swinging it at the right side of body, spinning it on both sides, then body turning right around and cleaving 2 times with the broadsword, right foot stepping forward and forming right bow stance, holding the broadsword with hands and flipping it upward, looking at the point of broadsword (Picture 14).

Mistake: incorrect flipping action.
Correcting Method: flipping immediately after the 2-times cleaving, and flipping upward with the strength of wrist.
14. Kneeling Stance and Wiping Broadsword
Gist: right foot withdrawing, body turning left 360°, two feet changing steps simultaneously and shifting into right kneeling stance, holding the broadsword with hands and cleaving from the top-down, then turning over wrist and wiping the broadsword, looking at the broadsword body (Picture 15).

Mistake: jumping and changing steps too slowly.
Correcting Method: turning body and changing steps coordinately.
15. Punching with Legs Standing Separately
Gist: getting up and waving the broadsword around, legs standing separately, right hand holding the broadsword and staying at the right side of body, left hand leaving the broadsword and shifting into fist and punching out from the waist side, looking at left side (Picture 16).

Mistake: forceless punching (Jirugi).
Correcting Method: punching quickly and forcefully with the strength of waist as well as the arm.
Closing Form
Left foot stepping toward the inner side of right foot and two legs standing with feet together, body turning left slightly, left fist shifting into palm and dropping naturally at the side of body, right hand holding the broadsword and staying at the right side of waist, eyes front (Picture 17).
