In tne end of October, the 130 students and three new trainers of Russian Altai Regional branch of Beijing Shaolin Kungfu School went through the appointment ceremony. The event was organised in a form of quest, testing their physical abilities, mind power and team spirit. They were divided into 8 teams: 6 children teams, one parents team and one elderly persons team.
In the end of the event, the new trainers took a joking oath and were appointed trainers by the head of Beijing Shaolin Kung-Fu Branches in Russia, Natalia Matveenko, who visited the event as an honourable guest. On the opening ceremony she said: “Wushu is the art of self-discovery, is the art of being open to the world. Through the prism of Chinese wushu we study our Russian soul” .
Barnaul branch of Beijing Shaolin Kungfu School started working on October 15th, 2014. It was opened with the help of Mr. Fu Biao, the president of International Kung-Fu federation.Today the educational process in our school is provided by the team of 7 trainers, and during the previous two years, two trainers from Beijing worked here - Hua Xi Xi and Lu Xin Xin.
Now, the school works in the following disciplines:
- Wushu Taolu
Today, there are 150 students in Barnaul branch of Beijing Shaolin Kungfu School.Their students become champions and get prizes in various competitions on all levels. We have regional champions, national champions, and the champions of annual Beijing International Kungfu Festival. In 2015, 45 students of this branch visited Beijing to take part in the annual training camp activities.
This year the branch started a new project - a social Taijiquan group for the elderly people. Every Friday elderly people come top school fo study kungfu fo free.
The Barnaul branch of Beijing Shaolin Kungfu School is an actively developing sport organisation, working with people of different ages (from 3 to 80 years old).
