On the morning of July 26th, 2014,the opening ceremony of 2014“Goldym . Wide Star”Cup the 4th Beijing International Wushu Culture Exchange Conference & the 3rd "Global Kungfu Website cup"World Kungfu Championship grandly opened in Beijing Changping Stadium. In order to thoroughly study and apply the spirit of the Central Committee, promote great development and prosperity of socialist culture ,in response to the call of the construction of a gathering city for international activities and culture center of global influence from Beijing municipal government and to promote the development of Beijing martial arts and the exchanges among martial arts players and lovers from all the countries as well as to make Chinese martial arts known to the world, showing Beijing’s outlook as a both cultural ancient city and a modernized metropolis, guided by the "Great Wushu Thought" promoted by the Chairman of Chinese Wushu Association, Mr.Gao Xiaojun, the first session of Beijing International Wushu Culture Exchange Conference was originally created and schemed by Fu Biao himself in 2011 .

 

Friendly envoy of the United Nations,vice-chairman of Chinese Wushu Association,chairman of International Kungfu Federation Mr.Fu Biao once said,"Martial arts originated from China but belong to the world,part of sports but above sports. Wushu is a combination of mind and body language, a combination of art and aesthetics, a combination of strength and skills, a kind of sport for developing the brain and body, and a kind of science technology for boosting spirits of human. The promotion of a national culture can sublimate national spirit; the promotion of wushu can enhance national spirit of a nation. A thoughtful nation has their own ideality, goals and hopes. A country that have national spirit will be stronger and stronger."

 

There are 400 teams from 70 countries and regions of five continents, domestic 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government, nearly 10000 martial arts enthusiasts participated in the conference. The leadership of State Sports General Bureau and the Chinese wushu association, martial arts organization leadership of part of the member states, international and domestic well-known martial arts experts, martial arts masters and the local government leaders attended the grand opening ceremony, and the scene is very spectacular. It is an orderly and competitive competition, the athletes in the high strength competition learn from each other, and has obtained the good result, martial arts skills is better than the previous session, martial arts kung fu star continuously appeared, truly reflects the Olympic spirits of higher, faster and stronger.

 

Global TV broadcasted live events, Global Kungfu Website, Global Entrepreneurship Website and Global Kungfu Magazine reported. People's Daily, CCTV, China Education Television and Beijing Television nearly hundreds of media reported this conference. On this basis, we will put the second Beijing International Kungfu Exchange Conference more grand, warm and wonderful. The organizing committee sets up competitions including wushu taolu, sanda, taekwondo, tai chi push hands, wrestling and all kinds of folk traditional wushu items.

 

The chairman of Chinese Wushu Association,Director of Wushu Sports Management Center of State General Administration of Sport,Mr.Gao Xiaojun proposes the concept of large martial arts which attract the attention of the worldwide martial arts enthusiasts, he constantly with the view of large martial arts guides overall work.During carrying out the guiding ideology of large martial arts, has preliminarily realized the unity of martial arts, created a harmonious environment, set up a big market, formed a good situation for the coordinated development of the national wushu, achieved the improvement of overall work, has realized the mutual benefit and win-win results.Only continue to insist the guidance of large martial arts,to improve the level of macro thinking and rational thinking,to set up a global foresight,that can have big cooperation and get big development.At the same time firmly establish the standardization system of martial arts work system and strengthen basic work.Gao Xiaojun once said that martial arts'standardization is the inherent requirement of wushu development and one of the fine tradition of martial arts development.In the new historical period, we should not only to standardize the the martial arts theory and technology, but also to comprehensively standardize the martial arts work.Standardization is not simplification, not standardize wushu at the expense of abundant cultural connotation of wushu, limiting the diversity development of wushu theory and technology.Without standardization, wushu's normalization,internationalization,and scientization are impossible.
